Below are some of the events that we had at the 2nd Annual K-9 Costume Party over the weekend. All the dogs (and owners) had a great time helping raise funds for the dog park, while winning some prizes. Special thanks to Cindy Straub (for the great photography packages) and Officer Deven Thompson and his K-9 Dany for the demonstration

Mummers Parade Oct 22, 2011

Woof(call) out to Paws Park visitors!!! Paws Park is in the Mummers Parade Oct 22 2011. We placed last year but this year, we want first prize!! We are entering… the PAWS PARK POSSE! So please plan to walk with us and dress you and your dog in cowboy or indian duds! (or in K.O.’s case, as a horse!!). We will have doggy bags and water for the dogs. If you are uncomfortable dressing up, try wearing a Paws Park Tshirt or sweatshirt. Or if you don’t want to dress your dog, bring your orange Paws Park bandana. Let’s show the community how many people truly appreciate and frequent Paws Park!!!!!! The more the merrier!! Paws Park Friends and Pals will hand out candy, we also hope to have some dog bones for the canine spectators!! I will do an event when we know where to meet so we have an idea how many- but please come and show your support!!!

Join us at Paws Park for the SECOND ANNUAL K-9 COSTUME PARTY. Dress up yourself and your pooch for games, prizes, and a professional photo opportunity of your pet at paws park, SUNDAY OCTOBER 16TH FROM 1:00 UNTIL 3:00 PM.
$5.00 ENTRY FEE. ONE DOG PER HANDLER AND HANDLER MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER. Dog tags will be checked. The park will be closed to others for this event. No children under the age of 12 allowed in this event. SEE YOU THEN!
